We are looking for a vibrant, self-starter with a can-do attitude who is interested in rewarding career experience focusing on multiple aspects of our seasonal business. We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic individual to assist with international recruiting, staff management and social engagement projects. The perfect candidate for this position will be an innovative go-getter with an interest in learning about and engaging with students from other cultures and countries.

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Research appropriate areas needed for Student Housing
  • Handle paperwork (applications) and process payments for apartments
  • Communicate with leasing offices via phone calls, emails, fax and in-person meetings
  • Respond to apartment maintenance requests/concerns from residents and communicate with properties to ensure a timely resolution
  • Assist with data entry and new hire processing
  • Assist the Recruiting / HR Department with seasonal recruiting process, including participating in job fairs, open houses, information tables, posting flyers in the community, posting jobs online and conducting interviews when necessary
  • Assist with organizing and teaching both domestic and overseas Lifeguard trainings and orientation
  • Organize and participate in seasonal activities, events and trips
  • Communicate with international staff to ensure an enjoyable experience; respond to complaints and requests in a professional manner
  • Oversee seasonal schedules to ensure proper staffing of pools in all areas; work with staffing department and supervisors to find solutions to scheduling issues
  • Work as a lifeguard when needed

 

General Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Lifeguard preferred
  • Ability to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor certification (current Lifeguard certification required)
  • Experience with an exchange program preferred (study abroad, work abroad, etc.)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain deadlines
  • Must work well in fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
  • Must be able to understand and communicate in both oral and written English fluently
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Maps and other Google applications; Social Networks
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid International or U.S. driver's license and have a clean driving record as driving a company vehicle may be required

 

Additional Information:

  • Job Dates: Immediate Opening through September 15. Successful candidates may be considered to transfer to a full time, year round position
  • Work Hours are generally 9am-6pm, Monday - Saturday. Longer hours or alternate days may be required as needed 
  • Must be available to work all holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day)
  • Pay: up to $15 per hour, based on experience
