Objective of this Role: The Service Coordinator plays an integral role in the general administration of the office and providing day-to-day support while acting as an intermediary between the Service Department and senior executives. Responsible for organizing and coordinating service department operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintain payroll records for the service division, including monitoring proper use of the timekeeping system, checking and adjusting time cards and submitting all records to the payroll department
  • Create schedules for the service division and monitor GPS system to ensure adherence to schedules and payroll
  • Maintain staffing needs of the service division including scheduling, interviewing, hiring and dismissal in both MD and PA markets
  • Responsible for large renovation/project management including equipment and material purchases and delegation to ensure deadlines are met
  • Oversee subcontracting and scheduling of 3rd parties including plaster crews
  • Manage company vehicle fleet by ensuring MVA compliance, vehicle maintenance and processing insurance claims - weekly car inspections, provide car cleaning and supplies
  • Create, estimates and manage sales of service products including AED, Water Balancing Chemicals and Winterization materials
  • Ensures the maintenance, certification and registration of AEDs
  • Participate as needed in special projects within the department
  • Assist Service Office Manager with duties, when needed

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Work, Excel, PowerPoint; Social Networks
  • Ability to learn new computer systems
  • Well organized and have the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a forward thinker, problem solver and team player
  • Have the ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Must have valid US Driver's license as driving a company vehicle may be required
  • Previous aquatics experience preferred
  • Must be available 7:30am-5pm (M-F), some Saturdays or longer hours may be required during busy season

Projected start date for this position: February 1st, 2020

Hourly wage: $17.00/hour +  (determined based on experience)
