Purpose of this Position:

The Division Manager's primary mandate is to ensure a safe pool environment and profitable operation through seamless delivery of excellent service to AquaSafe clients. Division Managers are responsible for the profitable growth of our organization and for providing the leadership necessary to motivate AquaSafe staff members to achieving performance excellence in accomplishing our Mission. This individual is responsible for managing a defined portfolio of clients, providing high quality customer service and for promoting the AquaSafe brand as the industry leader in aquatic safety and service excellence.


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • This position assumes the responsibility for pool safety including the detection of failures in safety performance and initiating corrective action/measures to comply with AquaSafe safety standards.
  • Communicate with local Health Authorities to ensure compliance with health and safety codes.
  • Train employees and ensure safe handling and storage of pool chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with all AquaSafe safety standards and policies.


  • Lead revenue generation for AquaSafe by identifying opportunities and when needed call upon AquaSafe management or sales resources to assist in pursuing the opportunity.
  • Responsible for determining operation staffing (Lifeguard/Pool manager/Supervisor) needs and interacting with Human Resource und Training personnel to ensure staffing and training demands are met and any issues or challenges are addressed prior to and during the service season.
  • Regulate staffing hours and personnel to maximize level of operational excellence while adhering to allotted budget und safety standards.
  • Manage operations staff members including authority to hire and terminate employment in compliance with AquaSafe policies.
  • Evaluate staff performance providing prompt and appropriate feedback and coaching to staff members in order to maximize their success in the organization.
  • Ensure staff's compliance to AquaSafe policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional image via personal appearance and behavior and by creating and maintaining a clean and efficient operating environment.
  • Establish a participative team environment providing staff members with opportunities to suggest improvements and invest their skills and talents in the success of the operation.

Customer Satisfaction

  • Maintain the highest level of client satisfaction ratings possible.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing operational excellence.
  • Respond to all clients' inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Attend board meetings, as appropriate, to maintain strong communication basis.
  • Schedule regular meetings with onsite and regional clients.
  • Deliver service excellence and develop strong client relationships to maximize contract renewal rates and multi-year client agreements.

Staff Development

  • Attend seminars, educational classes, and industry expositions to continually increase knowledge and industry awareness.
  • Develop, schedule, and frequently attend employee meetings.
  • Educate employees regarding company policies, procedures and expectations.
  • Promote a culture of individual accountability for personal and team results developing key metrics to monitor critical performance measures and progress toward goals.
  • Incorporate performance metrics in providing opportunities to recognize individual and team successes.
  • Encourage and hold supervisors accountable for interacting frequently with their staff providing feedback on their performance, coach improvements and generate enthusiasm for our mission and organization.
  • Reinforce supervisor's role in creating highly motivated teams and responsibility for the performance of their respective staff members.
  • Generate high retention rate level for top performers within his/her division.


  • Assume primary responsibility for AquaSafe's reputation and brand in the field.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at promoting a positive perception of AquaSafe and its employees in the marketplace.
  • Encouraging frequent and honest feedback from clients while taking action to respond to concerns, suggestions or opportunities.
  • Appropriately display AquaSafe name and logo whenever possible and ensure compliance to company vehicle and facility signage and corporate dress code policies.
  • Participating in community or business related functions.
  • Encourage employees to always interact with clients, vendors and pool patrons in a positive and friendly manner.

AquaSafe Teamwork

  • Maintain close interaction with corporate departments and other field operation divisions.
  • Participate with other Division Managers and all AquaSafe staff in identifying continuous learning and improvement opportunities.
  • Promote a collaborative, positive and performance-driven team culture within AquaSafe and her/his division.
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred 
  • 2 years of experience in customer service and/or management (similar industries preferred, i.e. pool management, property management, construction or landscaping management)
  • Driving record in conformity with AquaSafe policy as driving a company vehicle to visit client properties may be required
  • Demonstrated leadership, management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability and desire to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Computer knowledge - MS Office, Email, Google systems
  • Must be available to work longer hours during the busy season (March-September)


Additional Information:

This is a full-time, year-round position with start date available immediately upon hire.

Work hours are generally Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm; longer hours and some Saturdays may be required during the busy months.

Salary will be offered based on experience, starting at $50,000 with commission and/or bonus opportunities available. 

Continuing education and/or certification opportunities may be available.

Please note that this is not a remote position and the individual will be expected to report to the office on a daily basis.
